The Recent Past Preservation Network has recently acquired the online database midcenturybanks.com. For those not familiar with it, the site was launched in June 2010 to provide a history of the Bank Building & Equipment Corporation of America, identify its leaders and architects and feature projects that were designed or built by the company. The Jamaica Savings Bank in Queens, NY is a notable local example featured on the site. We should note that this online resource was made possible by the James Marston Fitch Charitable Foundation....
