Help needed with documenting mid-century Modern in NJ
January 17, 2016
The New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office is looking for distinctive examples of mid-century Modern architecture in New Jersey for an inventory they are developing. Residential, commercial, civic, religious, educational, and office buildings from 1940 to 1977 are all fair game. To the extent possible, please provide a building photo, street address or a location map, date of construction, and the name of the architect/designer. Submissions can be sent to andrea.tingey@dep.nj.gov. Two examples of buildings already on the list are pictured at right.
