Plan your visit: The Glass House opens for 2019

The Glass House is open for the season. Visitors have several options for touring Philip Johnson’s 1949 landmark in New Canaan, CT, including extended tours and self-guided tour days when visitors can wander the site at their leisure and interact with expert guides at stops throughout the estate. Entrance to the National Trust for Historic Preservation property is by tour ticket only and advance reservations are highly recommended. Tours begin at the Visitor Center + Design Store, which is a short walk from the Metro North New Canaan station. Tickets can be purchased via The Glass House website.
