Exciting Preservation News from New Canaan
June 26, 2019
The family of Eliot and Molly Noyes has donated a preservation easement on their 1954 home, commonly known as Noyes II, to the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation. The easement requires that future owners maintain the house and obtain permission from the Trust for any alterations, which must preserve the significant features of the structure. Concurrently, an Advisory Committee has been established to work with the family “to consider possibilities for the future stewardship of the house”.
