MAKEPRETEND is a New York based creative bureau, performing project-specific services for any method of communication. MAKEPRETEND developed the DOCOMOMO site in collaboration with developer Billy Fowks.
The website project planning was spearheaded by DOCOMOMO New York/Tri-State board members John Arbuckle and Kathleen Randall who acknowledge the valuable feedback received throughout the project from fellow board members. Kathleen Randall coordinated the build out and initial content posting with tireless assistance from Kate Tuohy. Currently, the web site is overseen by Marissa Marvelli and Kathleen Randall.
A generous financial gift from Brent Harris in 2008 started this project and made possible a website after many years of planning to "do one." Brent Harris has been a stalwart of the Modern architecture preservation movement from its beginnings, both by supporting organizations such as DOCOMOMO and through his restoration of several Modern icons.

We also thank Anna Vogel, our designer, and Billy Fowks, our programmer, for their ongoing assistance in this endeavor.
