The Babies & the Bathwater: Loss in Modernist New Haven

Alan Plattus, Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at the Yale University School of Architecture and Director of the Urban Design Workshop, will speak on the importance of New Haven in the history of Modernist architecture and planning. He will trace the rise and eventual disenchantment with Modernism, which led to the collateral loss of several buildings that could have been saved.
