Coming of Age: Preserving Buildings of the Modern Era
February 3, 2017
This year’s gathering of the Northeast Chapter of the Association for Preservation Technology will focus on technical issues concerning the preservation of Modern buildings. The event will take place at two iconic buildings on the Albany Mall—The Egg and the New York State Museum. Two of the three Saturday tours will explore the city’s Modern heritage—Edward Durell Stone’ s SUNY Albany campus and Wallace Harrison’s Empire State Plaza, aka the Albany Mall. This event is open to non-chapter members. Visit the symposium’s webpage for a complete list of discussion topics.
