Manitoga/The Russel Wright Design Center continues its “NYC Design” lecture and cocktail series with an evening at the Museum of the City of New York highlighting Cape Cod Modern. Peter McMahon, Executive Director of the Cape Cod Modern House Trust, will discuss the extensive collection of Modern houses on the Outer Cape and describe his organization’s efforts to protect them. Humble in budget, materials and environmental impact, these houses represent the physical remnants of a unique convergence of their designers’ philosophy and way of life.
