Challenges + Opportunities of Working on a College Campus

February 2, 2018

The 2018 annual meeting and symposium of the Association for Preservation Technology Northeast Chapter will feature presentations that explore a variety of issues unique to campus buildings and sites. One session will focus on the conservation of Brutalist concrete. The Yale University campus in New Haven, home to a range of architectural styles, including buildings by Eero Saarinen, Paul Rudolph, and Louis Kahn, provides an appropriate backdrop for the event. Laura Cruickshank, FAIA, University Master Planner and Chief Architect and Associate Vice President for University Planning, Design and Construction at the University of Connecticut, will give the keynote address.
