National Trust Ideas Competition is live for NYS Pavilion
March 25, 2016
With a groundswell of support to restore the New York State Pavilion at the former World’s Fair grounds in Queens—thanks in large part to the efforts of People for the Pavilion and the documentary film Modern Ruin, the question now is what, exactly, should it be used for? To help answer this question, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and People for Pavilion are seeking submissions for the recently announced New York State Pavilion Ideas Competition. The competition’s organizers hope to receive inspired concepts for repurposing this 20th-century architectural icon.
Submission deadline Friday July 1
Ideas must be submitted on a single 11 x 17 sheet
