The New Canaan Preservation Alliance recently announced the Chichester Road Historic District. Its six houses, completed between 1956 and 1964, were designed by Harrison DeSilver, James Evans, John Black Lee, and Hugh Smallen.
Spend a summer evening at The Glass House during Third Thursdays, a self-guided visit offering access to the Glass House, Brick House, Painting Gallery, and Sculpture Gallery. Educators will be stationed throughout the site to answer questions as visitors explore the campus at their own pace, with this season’s highlights including Tomashi Jackson and Robert Rauschenberg: The Catch One and works by John Chamberlain, Bruce Nauman, Frank Stella, and others.
