The Noguchi Museum presents Noguchi’s New York, an exhibition exploring Isamu Noguchi’s dynamic relationship with New York City and how its cultural and political landscape shaped his work—and how he sought to shape the city in return through communal spaces for play and gathering. Featuring more than 50 works, archival materials, and animated films that reimagine his unrealized playgrounds, the exhibition also marks the 40th anniversary of The Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum, celebrating the museum as one of his most enduring gifts to the city.
